New edition of the much in demand Dragon War :
This fourth album of the now mythical Californian group have been released only in vinyl, have been quickly out of stock and many people already announced the impossibility to find it. Nonsense! For you, Soulbeats Records made it! In fact the first LP of Groundation, mythical opus from “Hebron Gate” vinyle dub remixes, will be available on June 21st.
Representative of nyabinghi sessions Groundation’s music is centered on collective improvisation, sound and curiosity. Music as a means of communication offers to them a common language. The name ‘Groundation’ came from trying to get everyone on the same level so people can talk and feel free to educate each other and learn from each other, and not come from a hierarchy or some type of leveled class situation.
Release of the second album of Rootz Underground
After their very good first album “Gravity”, Rootz Underground returns to us with the second opus as good as the first one : "Gravity". There is not a lot of Jamaican band who decides to make roots music. Dancehall is fashionable and dominates the current reggae stage. But the Rootz Underground brighten up the root’s colors with success.
Gravity contains fourteen fresh tracks from Rootz underground. It is lead by the first single “Power to The People” which in light of the January 2010 earthquake is 'livicated' to the people of Haiti. The album is complete with a remix of their 2008 album track “Time is An Illusion”.
